F. Dumoulin & Co. side by side hammer shotgun, 12 gauge, Serial #NSNV. The shotgun is in good overall condition with 19” Damascus steel barrels with a full-length hand filed rib. The metal surfaces have gone to a silver/grey patina with silvered case hardening evident in the receiver. The checkered wood butt stock and splinter fore end are in fair condition showing heavy use with a significant break at the wrist and a crude repair. The butt ends with a steel butt plate providing a 14” LOP to the front trigger. The bores are dirty but should clean to fair; the action functions and the markings are legible on this old coach gun by a fine maker. Est.: $100-$200. (Antique).
