Italian SxS exposed mechanism flintlock double shotgun signed Tobier, approximately 20 gauge, 36” barrels, old re-blued finish, checkered deluxe wood stock with fine graining, brass butt plate with engraved and pierced brass trim piece to upper receiver tang; brass decoration to bottom of wood trigger guard, engraved inlay on underside of half stock in front of trigger guard and brass mount for wood ramrod thimble; left action working, right action not staying on cock, breech end of barrels show indistinguishable proofs; barrels show scattered spots of pinprick and more moderate pitting under re-finish; wood stock shows wear, old mars and scratches and some scattered losses and worming.
