Remington Model 11-96 Light Contour semi-automatic shotgun, 12 gauge, Serial #PC556754. The shotgun is in fine to excellent condition with a 28” barrel with a full-length ventilated rib and screw in choke tube. The metal surfaces retain approximately 95% of their blue finish with light handling marks. The receiver is nicely factory roll engraved and is sculpted at the rear of the receiver to reduce the weight of the action. The finely checkered Claro Walnut stock is in very good condition with a high gloss finish, storage marks and the butt ends with a Decelerator pad providing a 14 ¼” LOP. Introduced in 1996, the 11-96 was named shotgun of the year in 1997 and discontinued in 2000. It was intended as a lightweight, European style 11-87, weighing only 7 pounds. This one is in nearly excellent condition with a crisp action andvery good bore. Est.: $400-$800. (Modern).
