Remington Model 40XBR single shot bolt action target rifle, .257 Ackley Improved caliber, Serial #054419B. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 26” stainless steel bull barrel marked, “SEELEY MASKER”. The barrelretains nearly all of its stainless steel finish while the blued receiver shows small scratches and edge wear. The receiver has been drilled and tapped to accommodate scope mounting. The smooth wood target stock isfinished ion black lacquer with a flat fore end and no butt plate. The bore is very good, the action is crisp and markings are sharp. The lot includes a set of RCBS reloading dies, scope mounts and rings.Est.: $900-1800 (Modern).

During the Holiday Season there are added surcharges for shipping therefore we will begin shipping for this auction January 4th. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
