Mosin-Nagant Model 1891/30 bolt action rifle, 7.62 x 54R caliber, Serial #HN5189. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 29” barrel with a hooded post front and military tangent style rear sights. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their military finish with scratches and edge wear consistent with service use. The front ring features the Russian crest and is dated 1939. The smooth wood stock is in good condition with mars and compressions from carry and use, there is a crack in the right side from the wrist to the recoil lug; and on the left side the stock has been relieved for a scope mount, with minor cracks at the bottom of the relief cut. The bore is fair, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this WWII era battle rifle. Est.: $200-$400. (C+R).
