An Exhibition Factory Engraved Forehand and Wadsworth Center Hammer .32 with Factory Pearl Grips. Flayderman 8A-060. Made in the 1870's this is an exhibition quality revolver. 3 and 1/2 inch octagonal barrel marked on top flat: Forehand & Wadsworth, Worcester, Mass. U.S. Pat. Sept 24. Oct 22/61-Jany. 27/71. The frame, barrel and cylinder elaborately engraved with foliage on a punch dot ground. Lovely original grips with great 'fire' and no chips whatsoever. Barrel has nearly all original nickel with perfect address and engraving. Frame has much original nickel with losses mostly on backstrap and underside where steel has been polished. Cylinder is polished bright and may have been so originally as engraving is sharp. Action is good as is bore.
