Smith & Wesson Model No. 1, 2nd issue spur trigger revolver, .22 caliber, 3.25” barrel, blued finish, brass frame, rosewood grips, back strap inscribed “C. H. D. Jr./July 15, 1876”, S/N 117323; brown patina on barrel,traces of blued finish on cylinder, taffy color patina on brass frame, good markings and grips, hammer advances cylinder but does not remain on full cock; typewritten note indicates this gun belonged to Dr.Dalrymple’s uncle, Charles Hoagland Dalrymple, Jr. and was given to Dr. Dalrymple by his father when he graduated from high school in 1935. The gun was then gifted by Dr. Dalrymple in 1978 to our consignor. (Antique). Est.: $150-$300.
