Colt Model 1862 Police percussion revolver, .36 caliber, desirable 6.5” barrel, blued and case hardened finish, wood grips, S/N 5007; overall very good to fine condition displaying the majority of its original blued finish on the barrel, traces of original blued finish in protected areas of the fluted cylinder, majority of case colors on frame and loading lever plus majority of un-cleaned silver wash on backstrap and trigger guard. Accompanied by a typewritten note from consignor indicating gun was purchased in Sept., 1991 from noted arms dealer, Herb Glass. (Antique). Est.: $1,750-$3,500.
