Custom Smith & Wesson Model 1917 revolver, .45 caliber, Serial #24402. The pistol is in good overall as customized with a 3 7/8” barrel. The front sight has been replaced and the rear is adjustable. The metalsurfaces retain a significant amount of their muted blue finish with scratches and loss of finish in areas on the barrel and frame. The hammer and trigger show old, muted case hardening. The checkered wood medalliongrips are in good condition with mars and chips. The lanyard ring has been removed and the base of the grip is marked, “LAS 1045”. The bore is dirty but should clean to fair; the action functions and the markings arelegible. The lot includes two moon clips. Est.: $250-$500. (C+R/PPT).

Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
