Allen & Thurber six shot pepperbox percussion pistol, .32 caliber, Serial #NSNV. The pistol is in good overall condition with 3 ¼” barrels. The metal surfaces are a dark brown patina with light engraving stillevident on the frame. The barrel flat is marked, “ALLEN & THURBER”. The trigger guard is a handmade brass replacement added during the period of use. The smooth wood grips are in good condition with mars, dentsand the escutcheon plate is missing from the right panel. The bores are fair, the action functions and the markings are legible. Est.: $300-$600. (Antique).
