Early Colt Lightweight Commander semi-automatic pistol, .38 Super caliber, Serial #7482-LW. The pistol is in good overall condition with a 4” barrel. The metal surfaces retain a significant amount of blue finish with the remainder going to a grey patina. A beaver tail safety has been added during the period of use. The laser etched wood grips are after market and show some loss of finish but are otherwise in good condition. The bore is good, the action functions and the markings are legible on this desirable, early lightweight Commander in .38 Super. Est.: $600-$1,200. (Modern/PPT).
