Husqvarna Commercial Model 98 Mauser bolt action sporting rifle, 8 x 57 caliber, Serial #102550. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 24” barrel with a hooded blade front and standing leaf rear sights.The barrel retains the majority of its blue finish with a sling swivel added. The barrel address reads, “HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS A.B. KAL. 8 x 57.” The receiver retains a significant amount of factory blue finishwith bright niter blue on the bolt release. The custom checkered Walnut stock is in good condition with fine figure and finish. The stock is a replacement with a beaded cheek piece and upgraded wood. The butt stockretains the sling swivels, leather sling and ends with a solid rubber recoil pad. The rifle is topped with Talley mounts and rings with a Stith fixed 4x scope. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markingsare sharp on this Husqvarna built on an FN action. Est.: $600-$1,200. (C+R).
