GECO marked Model 98 Mauser bolt action sporting rifle, approximately 9mm caliber, Serial #4544. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 24” round barrel with a banded blade front and two-leaffolding rear sights. The barrel retains the majority of its blue finish with a sling swivel added. The receiver retains a significant amount of blue finish with thinning on the magazine plate and is marked, “GECO” and “Import” on the right side of the front ring. The custom Walnut stock has a Schnabel fore end, pancake cheek piece and horn grip cap. The butt stock ends with a red solid rubber recoil pad. The bore isgood, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this custom GECO Mauser. Est.: $250-$500. (C+R).

During the Holiday Season there are added surcharges for shipping therefore we will begin shipping for this auction January 4th. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
