German Mauser Model K98 bolt action rifle, 8 x 57 caliber, Serial #9119. The rifle is in fair overall condition with a 24” import marked barrel with a ramped blade front and military tangent style rear sights. Themetal surfaces have all gone to a dark patina with light to moderate surface rust and a crisp Mauser banner on the front ring. The smooth wood stock is in rough condition with numerous dents and gouges and shows heavyuse. The butt stock ends with smooth steel butt plate. The bore is worn with pitting evident, the action functions and the markings are legible. Est.: $250-$500. (C+R).
