Commercial Mauser Banner M98 bolt action rifle, 8 x 57 caliber, Serial #55651. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 24” barrel with a ramped blade and military tangent style rear sights. The metalsurfaces retain a significant amount of original blue finish with a crisp Mauser Banner on the front ring with BUG and N proofs on the left side, dated 1933. The smooth wood stock is in good condition withsmall mars and compressions consistent with carry and use. The butt stock ends in a smooth steel butt plate.
