Fabrique Nationale 98 Mauser bolt action rifle, .30-06 caliber, Serial #4816. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 24” barrel with a hooded front and military tangent style rear sights. The metalsurfaces retain a significant amount of their military finish with pin prick pitting in front of the front ring and along the wood line of the receiver. The front ring has a crisp FN emblem, is Belgian marked andfeatures Belgian proofs. The smooth wood stock is a replacement in good condition. The butt stock ends with a smooth steel butt plate with a trap. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp.The lot includes sling swivels and a modern leather military style sling. Est.: $300-$600. (C+R).

During the Holiday Season there are added surcharges for shipping therefore we will begin shipping for this auction January 4th. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
