Interesting Breech Loading percussion single shot self-priming American experimental rifle stamped “Isaac Hollis” on the barrel. Measures 1” overall with a 23 ¾” barrel of approximately .60 caliber rifled. The rearsight doubles as latch to open action. A spring lever on the right feeds primer. The work appears to be a one off prototype or experimental and the rifle is nicely stocked in figured walnut. Bright metal. Goodoverall. This arm should be researched as a patent may have been granted. About 1850s-60s. (Antique) Est.: $1500-$3000
