Remington Rolling Block Fowler in 20GA with barrel shortened to 22” during period of use. The gun shows a dark brown patina with light to heavy scattered pitting. The overall condition is fair to poor with broken andloose wood. A coating of varnish has been applied. A large hole drilled into the bottom of the action possibly for a swivel mount? The action does not hold on full cock but almost works and is complete. Shows groove on top of the frame indicating it was made as a shotgun. Tang marked “E. Remington”. With no serial numbers or other marking. Found in gold rush area of Northern California by early collector. (Antique) Est.: $100-$200
