J. Dickert signed Kentucky rifle with thick butt and simple engraved non-pierced patch box. The lock is signed “Dreppert” and in its original flintlock configuration with correct top jaw, screw, frizzen and smallparts. Measures 59” overall with a 43” barrel. Over 1” thick across butt with patch box release button on top of the butt plate. .44 caliber rifled octagon barrel of standard weight. The barrel shows 3 keys with silverescutcheons around the slots. Silver “Bethlehem Star” inlay on the cheek piece. The lock is working but not setting every time with triggers. The stock is very good plus with only minor imperfections and acouple very minor losses at the top edge. One of the most desirable Lancaster makers of the 18th to early 19th century. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
