American assembled flintlock musket with reddish colored stock possibly cherry wood. Measures 6” overall with a 44” barrel in approximately .69-70 caliber smoothbore. Long brass ramrod pipes and iron French 18thcentury trigger guard with swivel in front of the bow. Small proofs at the left rear of breech that may be French and the back portion of the barrel goes from round to octagon in French and German style. The steel side plate is also French style as is the lock and a small “J” inspection at the center of side plate. The butt plate is steel secured by 2 screws and also has a “Frenchy” look. The touch hole is oversized to workwith this lock. A crude ramrod with large round head of the period is included. The stocking is definitely American with sharp point to comb and bulbous swell around the rear ramrod Ferrell. Circa Revolutionary Warto War of 1812. (Antique) Est.: $800-$1600

Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
