Colt Lightning special ordered deluxe rifle in 44-40 cal with 26" half round half octagon barrel, half mag, pistol gripped deluxe wood stock with rifle butt, #20018. The metal shows a patina finish with some blue mixedin. The barrel address and caliber markings are readable and good. The rampant colt slightly light on the frame and shows some light cleaning on both sides. The stocks are worn with a large chip near the toe but arecorrect deluxe stocks with checkered bottom panel to pistol grip. Ebhets safety in the trigger guard removed. Bore is worn with some erosion and pitting. Deluxe Lightning with special features are scarse andexpensive when in high condition. This is one that saw honest frontier use and may letter well. During the Holiday Season there are added surcharges for shipping therefore we will begin shipping for this auction January 4th. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs including packing, materials, shipping, 2% of invoice total for insurance, custom fee, duty fees, exporter fee etc. International shipments are sent to an exporter. All oversized, extremely heavy & extremely fragile items the buyer is responsible for contacting a third-party shipping company for shipment. We ship Federal Express; we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
