US Springfield M1C Garand rifle, .30 caliber, Serial #3514354. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 24” barrel. The metal surfaces retain nearly all of their military finish with only light handling marks. An M84 scope mount and flash hider have been added. The smooth wood stock is in very good condition with areas of dried oil and storage marks. The barrel is marked, “SA” and dated 11-54. There are two crisp cartouches on the butt stock with an eagle and stars beneath the left side of the action and a Circle P behind the trigger guard. The butt stock includes sling swivels, a leather lace up cheek piece marked, “MRT” and dated May 1976 and ends with a checkered steel butt plate with trap. The bore is very good, the action crisp and markings are sharp on this M1 sniper rifle. The lot includes the CMP Certificate of Authenticity indicating the rifle was delivered on June 18, 2012 and a Telescope Model M84 fixed power rifle scope with a post and crosshair reticle, Serial #22741.
