Egyptian Hakim semi-automatic rifle, 8 x 57 caliber, Serial #E191. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 24 ½” import marked barrel including the proprietary muzzle break. The metal surfaces retain asignificant amount of the military finish with a tangent style rear sight. The receiver has Egyptian script on the left side and is marked, Hakim on the right. The smooth wood stock is in good condition withsling swivels and a period leather sling. The butt stock ends with a smooth steel butt plate. The bore is fair, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp. Initially developed in Sweden as the Ag M/42 for theSwedish army, the Hakim’s were manufactured by Egypt during the 1950’s-60’s.
