Salute or signal cannon circa 1899 to 1922 with naval brass tube and iron carriage and wells showing makers plaque reading “Locomobile Co. of America”. Located in Water town, Mass. This company was an early carmanufacture known for quality before assembly line production. 12” tube with 2 stages and large cascabel. Considerable original to the period red paint with normal deterioration, loss and some minor rust and pitting on iron. Good patina on the tube with 70%-80% bore. Collectible also in automobile arenas. Measures 16” in length from muzzle to end with 11 ½” tube. Est.: $350-$700
