Colt Single Action Army revolver, .38 WCF caliber, Serial #193509. The pistol is blue and case hardened with a 7 ½” barrel made in 1900. The old, custom smooth wood grips feature inlaid Gutta Percha Rampant Coltemblems. The pistol retains approximately 60%-75% original blue on the barrel and cylinder with some cleaning and bright spots. The front sight has been slimmed slightly and the frame shows 30%-50% of the originalcase color which are muted on the left side and brighter on the right. The markings are good and the hammer is 2nd generation. The bore is good, all matching numbers and a good action. Of further note, there is an “R”behind the serial # which is a neat period stamp and the letters are factory offset to the left side of the frame and could possibly be factory markings.
