Frontier era Winchester Model 1873 S.R.C. in .44-40 caliber, S/N 178508B. Good to very good condition overall retaining 10%-20% blue mixed in a brown to gray natural patina. Correct sights, bands and small parts. Crispedges and good markings including .44 caliber on the brass lifter. The fore end is very good. The butt stock is weathered with some minor cracks and shrinkage around the butt plate. The wear pattern indicates carry in ascabbard as fore end protected while butt is exposed mostly on one side. The action is very good and fairly bright. Rod in the butt. A 7-7.5 on a 1-10 scale. (Antique) Est.: $1400-$2800

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
