Custom Remington Model 700 BDL bolt action rifle, .223 Remington caliber, Serial #E6342751. The rifle is in excellent overall condition with a 24” barrel with a hooded front and adjustable rear sights. The metalsurfaces retain nearly all of the blue finish with custom scroll engraving on the receiver and magazine base plate. The finely checkered wood stock has an ebony fore end cap, pistol grip and sharp checkering. Thebutt stock ends with a checkered plastic butt plate providing a 13 ½” LOP. The rifle is topped with a Tasco World Class Plus 3.5 x 10 x 50 variable power scope. The lot includes a period leather military style sling. Thebore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this lightly used upgraded Model 700. Est.: $500-$1,000. (Modern).
