Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring lever action carbine, .25-20 WCF caliber, Serial #549268. The carbine is in very good overall condition with a 20” barrel and full-length magazine. The barrel and magazine retain asignificant amount of toning blue finish drifting to grey patina with a brass blade front sight, ladder rear and a small dent in the magazine near the muzzle. The receiver is grey with the saddle ring retained, dullblue on the loading gate and muted case colors on the hammer and lever. The smooth gumwood stocks are in good condition with mars and compressions consistent with carry and use. The butt stock ends with a smoothsteel crescent butt plate. The bore is fair, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this saddle ring carbine circa 1910. Est.: $600-$1,200. (C+R).
