Savage Model 1899 Takedown lever action rifle, #164128, .22 High Power caliber, palin wood stock with Weaver K3 scope. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 20” tapered round barrel with a ramped bladefront sight. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their blue finish with light wear at the muzzle and high point edge wear on the receiver. The rifle features the brass shell counter and shows beautiful toning case hardening on the lever, particularly on the protected portion. The smooth wood stocks are in good condition with the fore end serialized to the rifle. The butt stock ends with a factory hard rubber butt plate. Thebore is very good, the action is crisp and markings are sharp on this desirable Savage manufactured in 1915. (C&R Est. $800-1600
