German naval officer’s sword circa 1910 Model 1876. Eisenhauer marked triple-etched pipe-back curved blade with minor false edge cutback. Blade is acid etched on Terzside with Crossed Oar & Trident; Crowned Anchor;Sailing Ship; Arabesque design. Quartside has Scrolled Leaf Motif; Crowned Anchor; Sailing Ship. Crisscrossed edge motif. Blade appears to have been rebent near tip. Carved 9-Rib bone grip with twisted wire.Lion-Head pommel with full mane, green and red eyes, no tabs. Plain 4-line Ferrule. Folding Languet with locking hole. Large pierced guard has fouled anchor with chain, and imperial crown with Pendilien. Scrolledshell motif, with gilt brass backing plate on Guard. No scabbard. Blade is 30½” L & 35½” overall. Est.: $250-$500
