Imperial German Artillery Sword Circa 1890-1911, Eichorn Chrome blade with Quill-back (pipe-back), and Kilij style false cutback, extending 1/3 of upper side of the 33-1/8” blade. Blade is etched “Eisenhauer”. Spine of blade is etched “M. Neumann, Berlin//Hoflieferant” (supplier). Gilt bronze hilt with full lion head set with red stone eyes. P-Shaped knuckle bow with stylized leaf design. Back of Grip isscrolled leaf and floral motif. Sharkskin covered wood grip is missing the twisted wire wrap. Gilt brass ferrule has a laurel leaf pattern. Languet with crossed cannon. Scrolled leaf quillon has been re-bent and is partially cracked. No scabbard. Overall 38½”L and 7/8” at ricasso.
