Interesting British Musket with lock marked "Pritchert" showing British proofs in .69 caliber with S shaped side plate circa 1770s-90s in style of and patterned after brown bess. Measures 46 1/2" overall with a30" barrel. Shortened during period of use with engraved band added. The stock marked "G. Murton, Millon Volunteer" on buttstock and "Somerset 2112" engraved on butt plate. "K.V. 11" carved behind the tang. Minordings, mars and losses to the stock. Good overall. (Antique) Est.: $600-$1200
