Colt 1862 Police with a 5 1/2" barrel cased with accessories remaining in fine original condition, S/N 22133. The barrel retains 75%-85% plus original bright an dinky blue with some drifting and toning. The cylindermatches the barrel finish with an index line and some light erosion. The frame shows 95% plus fiery case colors and the hammer and lever show 85%-95% case colors. Most of the original toned silver is retained on thestraps. The grips show 90%-95% varnish with minor losses at the edges and very slight scratches and marks. The original dusty rose colored velveteen lining is good to very good with some impressions, fading and fraying at the contact points. The partitions have been glued. A .36 caliber mold with 75% bright blue is included along with "E Pluribus Unum" eagle flask with 30% varnish and minor dents. Wrenches, cartridge pack, and cap tinare also included. The exterior of the case is very good with some staining, scratches and normal aging. A very nice set. From the well-recognized Gary Wiemann estate collection. (Antique) Est.: $4,000-$8,000
