Napoleonic era horn and powder flask for French flintlock pistols circa about 1800-1815. The pair originally came from Belgium to America to be displayed with silver mounted Boutet pistol that waspresented to Belgium king. The flask is pressed horn in very good plus to near fine condition and measures 6 1/2" in length. The mold is matching in style and age and shows its original mirror bright polish and is near excellent. Both for about .50 caliber pistols. Sold at over $4000 U.S. by a noted Liege dealer.
