Early Smith & Wesson Double Action 2nd model Revolver in .32 caliber with scroll engraving, nickel plated with hard rubber grips showing British proofs and English style oak casing, S/N 17327. Circa early1880s. The engraving is the style attributed to New York agents such as Robinson and Hartley and Graham. 85%-95% original nickel with some natural aging and loss. 80%-90% blue on the trigger guard with 60%-80% casecolors on the hammer and trigger. The grips show minor edge wear. The action is good and the bore is only fair but may clean. The box is very good plus missing circular plate at the center. (Antique) Est.: $750-$1500
