Listed and described at lot # 233 of the Stembridge Auction Catalog by Little John's on June 5-6, 2007. 391/2"blued octagon barrel of 40 cal., modern restocked, circa pre-war by Stembridge gunsmiths. No ramrod, stock cracked, guns like this were used in many epic Hollywood Golden Age films. We have had severalsimilaridentified to "The Kentuckian" starring John Wayne, "The Unconquered", "Drums along the Mohawk", "The Kentucky Rifle", etc, etc, etc. May be the identifiable by further research in stillphotos.
