Suhl marked “German Federal Musket” converted from flintlock to percussion with brass mounts in .75 caliber. The barrel has been reduced to 38” and now measures 53” overall. Shows hard use and much carry with “wearthrough” from being carried over the saddle in fore end just in front of the trigger guard. Heavy uncleaned patina with large losses of wood behind the lock in top of tang area. The lock is frozen. As found uncleaned and out of the attic condition.
