“W. Richards” marked cape gun or combo rifle shotgun with barrel marked “London” and silver inlays of star and arrow at the rear of the rib. Under lever release with set trigger also marked fine laminated steel.German silver disk type patch box in the buttstock. 2 leaf folding rear sight and blade front sight. W. Richards infringed on the reputation of Westley Richards of London but this gun is Belgian made and spuriouslymarked to be sold on foreign rural markets. Approximately 16 GA choked cylinder and approximately 10.11mm rifled barrel (Similar to .38-55 Win). A dent has been removed from right front of shotgun barrel. Fair to goodoverall used condition with patina finish. Sound mechanically and good lock up. Blackpowder era circa 1880s-90s. Favorite of German pioneers to South Africa. (Antique) Est.: $500-$1000

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
