Custom Mauser GEW 98 bolt action rifle, 8 x 57 caliber, Serial #2135. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 23” military barrel with a ramped blade front and military tangent style rear sight. The rifle retains a significant amount of blue finish. The front ring has German proofs, crown symbol, AMBERG and is dated 1918. The smooth wood stock has been re-finished with an extra coat of varnish and a ventilated rubber recoilpad added. The bore is fair, the action functions and the markings are legible. Est.: $200-$400. (C+R).

All over-sized, fragile or bulky items are the buyer's responsibility to have a third party shipper pick up and deliver.We do not ship to address' outside the United States.
Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
