Colt SA Army revolver, .44-40 caliber, Serial #76091. The black powder frame pistol is in very good overall condition 4 ¾” barrel with a trimmed front sight. The pistol has gone to an overall grey/brown patina with mars,surface erosion, holster wear at the right side of the muzzle and an index line on the cylinder. The pistol is marked .44 CAL on the trigger guard with crisp patent dates and all matching visible serial numbers. Thesmooth wood grips are in good condition showing moderate to heavy use with the metal slightly proud at the butt. Additionally, the lot includes a custom glass front wood display case measuring 24” x 11 ½” made bythe grandson of Binus Moore of Oklahoma, prior owner of the pistol. The box has an inscribed plate marked, “Owned and Used by Legendary Cowboy “Binus” Moore”. The pistol was purchased by the consignor from thegrandson in the early 2000’s at which time the grandson was in his eighties. A statement of facts will be provided the purchaser. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
