Colonel Samuel Colt Sesquicentennial 1814-1964 Model SAA revolver, .45 Long Colt caliber, Serial #2068SC. The pistol is as new in the factory select American Walnut case. The pistol is one of only 200 Deluxemodels manufactured with a 7 ½” barrel, silver plate finish with Royal blue frame, barrel, ejector rod tube and screw, hammer and trigger. The cylinder is hand engraved with a scene of the Colt Factory dome, theColt Paterson Colt revolver and a Rampant Colt. The barrel, frame back strap and trigger guard were scroll engraved with all engraving done by Alvin A. White of A.A. White Engravers Inc. The grips are smoothrosewood with nickel Colt medallions. The pistol comes in the factory case which is American Walnut with burgundy velvet interior with a varnished Walnut ammunition block with 12 nickel dummy cases. The interior ofthe case is French style to accommodate the bullet block, medallion and revolver. The lid compartment holds a hard back copy of the book, THE ARMS COLLECTION OF COLONEL COLT.
