Colt 1851 Navy revolver, rare variation cut for stock 1st type stock with swivel on trigger guard, Serial #79402. The pistol is in very good original condition with 30%-50% original blue mixing with a natural graypatina. The pistol has good markings and good edges, 30%-50% light cylinder scene and 60% plus thick and uncleaned original silver plating on the iron straps. The wood grips are good with 50%-70% original varnishshowing wear at the butt. The action is tight and sound mechanically. The small iron guard is cut for the early style stock and there are estimated to be only 50 in existence according to Robert Jordan, authorof Colt 1851 and 1861 Navies & Conversions, refer to page 85. This pistol is a very significant variation to true collectors that is seldom encountered. Est.: $4,000-$8,000. (Antique).

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance.
