Original bronze casting of John Wayne signed Nickelsen and Copyright Wayne Enterprises 1980. The bronze is numbered 26/152 with a certificate. The piece was issued by the Wayne Family and sold by the Spirit ofAmerica Galleries/Beverly Hills (Michael Wayne-Principal). The piece had an original cost of over $10,000. The bust is approximately 16 ½” in height and 21 ½” including the base. The bronze plaque on the base reads, “TOMORROW IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE. COMES INTO US AT MIDNIGHT VERY CLEAN. IT'S PERFECT WHEN IT ARRIVES AND IT PUTS ITSELF IN OUR HANDS. IT HOPES WE'VE LEARNEDSOMETHING FROM YESTERDAY.” JOHN WAYNE Copies of this bust have been gifted to President Ronald Reagan for the oval office, to the University of Southern California Trophy Room and the Smithsonian Institution. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
