Evans Repeating .44 caliber centerfie sporting rifle with a 30" octagon barrel, finely New York period scroll engraved in the style of L.D. Nimschke, silver and gold washed, and with select varnished wood stock, S/N 830. The rifle retains the majority of its silver and gilt finishes with bright blue on the trigger and small parts. The stocks are very good plus with some minor scratches but retain most of its original varnish.Bright blue on the sights. Sharp address with 1868 and 1871 patent dates. Crisp with fine bore. Completely uncleaned and no polishing. The engraving is very profuse with rich and plentiful scrolls also typical Nimschke arrow on the tube and cross hatching on the belly of the frame. Provenance John Malloy 1991 who published Nimschke book and felt this was the master’s work. (Antique) Est.: $7500-$15,000

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
