Authentic Scottish snaphance pistol with heart shaped butt dated in silver on the barrel 1674. Measures 16" overall with a 10 5/8" barrel of .60 caliber smoothbore. A very fine pistol in its day showing considerablesilver work and partial Royal crest on the barrel. Light to heavy scattered pitting and erosion, All flintlock parts and major parts including belt hook are authentic except ramrod is a correct style replacement. Thestock has been damaged and period repaired and touch hole bushed with brass plug. A very interesting and early Scottish pistol that was used and undoubtedly hid in the wall or down a well during the years of troubles with British crown. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
