Colt 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver finely Gustave Young engraved with burl wood grips, S/N 55185. Deluxe scroll with "Devil Dog" hand cut Colt's patent, cobb webs, and florals all typical of young in the highpoint of his engraving on navies. The Colt retains some original blue with some recoloring using chemicals and heat. The grips also have considerable varnish with great burl but some wear at the edges. Thecylinder shows 20%30% light scene. Good markings and all matching visible numbers. The work on this navy was done 30-50 years ago and is not unsightly. The engraving makes this pistol worthy to collection as it is"The master's own hand". An affordable example. (Antique) Est.: $3000-$6000

All over-sized, fragile or bulky items are the buyer's responsibility to have a third party shipper pick up and deliver.We do not ship to address' outside the United States.
Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
