Custom FN Mauser bolt action sporting rifle, 7 x 57 caliber, Serial #23899. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 24” barrel marked, “CHROME VANADIUM STEEL”. The rifle retains a significant amount of bluefinish with wear at the muzzle and where the front sight was removed. The barrel and front ring of the rifle have Belgian acceptance and proof marks, while the rifle is dated 1952. The bolt has been modifiedand ground on to accommodate scope mounting. The smooth wood stock has a Schnabel fore end, grip cap, sling swivels, leather sling and ends with a ventilated rubber recoil pad providing a 12 ¾” LOP. The rifle is toppedwith Bausch & Lomb mounts and a Balvar fixed 4x rifle scope with fine cross hairs. The bore is good, the action is crisp and markings sharp on this Belgian FN from the 1950’s. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
