Antique G.F. Stormer Side by Side Hammer Cape Gun, approximately 11mm x 16 gauge, Serial #NSNV. The rifle is in very good overall condition with 26” Damascus steel barrels with a full-length hand filed checkered ribwith a gold inlayed barrel address reading, “G.F. STORMER HERZBERG A.H.” and gold bands at the breech. The barrels have gone to an even brown patina. The receiver is silvered old, case colors with magnificent reliefengraving of game scenes covering approximately 90%-95% of the receiver. The hammers are ornately engraved as are the trigger guard, tang and screw heads. The finely checkered wood stock is in very goodcondition with deluxe checkering, round knob pistol grip, beaded cheek piece and a steel basket weave butt plate with bullet trap providing a 13 ½” LOP to the front trigger. The bores are fair and the action functionson this outstanding example of a late 19th Century Cape Gun. G.F. Stormer was a highly regarded craftsman amongst the Herzberg, Suhl and Zella-Mehlis makers. Est.: $1,250-$2,500. (Antique).

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
