Half-stock percussion plain rifle with barrel marked, “H. Sheets” and lock marked Dayton. The rifle has a 35 ½” octagon barrel of medium weight in approximately .36 caliber rifled. The rifle is in good to very goodoverall condition with a pleasing original brown on the barrel with some pitting around the firing area around the breech. The rifle has simple brass mounts, double set triggers, working well. The stock is verygood with minor imperfections and normal age. A Westward expansion era plains rifle made “Up the River” from St. Louis. Est.: $350-700 (Antique).

All over-sized, fragile or bulky items are the buyer's responsibility to have a third party shipper pick up and deliver.We do not ship to address' outside the United States.
Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
