Handmade old Bowie knife with an American hardwood, possibly hickory grip. The knife is 17 ¼” in overall length with a 12 ¼” blade which may have been made from a carriage or wagon spring. The knife has a simple brassguard with grip secured by three pins. The hilt shows line and dot decoration. The blade shows forging and light pitting. From the style, we would place the knife in the 1830’s-1860’s possibly Southern as it hasthat “Look”. Est.: $125-250

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
